Prayer for Today, October 8

Heavenly Father, today we come before You in humble gratitude for all of the blessings that You provide. We are thankful for the opportunities that You give us to serve and glorify Your name. Lord, we pray that You would help us to make wise decisions and to live lives that honour You. Help us to be strong and faithful in our faith and to trust You in all things.

We pray for those who are struggling with sickness or pain, those who are struggling financially, and those who are lonely or grieving. Lord, please bring healing, hope, comfort, peace, and joy into their lives.

We also ask that You would give us strength as we continue through this season of change. Guide our footsteps so that we may walk in Your truth and do what is right according to Your Word. Thank you for being a God of mercy and compassion who loves us unconditionally no matter what comes our way. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
