Prayer for Today, February 27
Heavenly Father, we come to You today asking for Your guidance and protection. We ask that You would keep us safe and secure in the knowledge that You are with us always. Lord, grant us strength and courage to face whatever trial or situation may come our way. Help us to trust in You, even when it is hard.
We thank You for the blessings You have already bestowed upon us. We thank You for the grace and mercy that comes through Your Son Jesus Christ. We are grateful for all of the ways that You show Your love for us each day.
Lord, we pray for those who are facing difficult times right now–those who are struggling financially, spiritually, or emotionally. Give them comfort and peace as they seek Your will in their lives. Provide them with the resources necessary to live their lives with dignity and joy.
We also lift up our leaders–those who have been elected to serve in government offices and positions of authority. Give them wisdom and discernment as they seek to make decisions that will benefit all people under their care. Help them to lead with kindness and justice in their hearts, so that all may be served fairly.
In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen!
