A Prayer for Today, December 20
Lord, thank You for this day. Thank You for Your many blessings and mercies. We ask that You guide our thoughts and actions today. May we live in the knowledge that You are in control and never forget the truth of Your Word.
Help us to be mindful of the ways that You have worked in our lives and may we seek to honor You with our lives today. Give us strength to stand firm against temptation, courage to trust in Your plan, and faith to take each step with confidence in You.
We pray for those who are struggling today – may they find peace and comfort in You. Help us also to be a source of encouragement for those around us who need it – may our words and actions bring them hope and joy from You.
We ask these things in Your most precious name, Amen.
