A Prayer for Today, December 11

Heavenly Father, we come before You this day with thankful hearts and humble spirits. We thank You for the many blessings that have come our way, and ask that You would continue to guide us in all of our endeavors.

We seek Your guidance in our lives, Lord. Please help us to be patient and persevere in the face of adversity. Give us the strength to make wise decisions and to trust in Your will. Let us not become discouraged when things don’t go our way; instead, let us remain focused on You and Your plans for us.

We also ask that You would lead us away from temptation and keep us on the right path. Give us discernment to recognize when something is not of You so that we can turn away from it. Help us to remain strong and courageous no matter what comes our way.

We offer this prayer today with love in our hearts and peace on our minds knowing that You are always with us, Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
