Prayer for Today, August 22
Almighty God, we thank You for the gift of today. We have been blessed with a new day and we want to use it to bring glory to Your name.
Help us to use our resources and time wisely, so that we may be able to serve You faithfully. Guide us in our decision making, so that our hearts may remain devoted to You and Your will.
Enable us to find joy in each moment of this day, so that we can be a blessing to those around us. Grant us wisdom and discernment to make wise choices throughout this day.
We surrender ourselves completely into Your hands and ask for Your protection from any harm or danger that might come our way today. We thank You for being a loving Father who is always there for us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
