Prayer for Today, August 18
Heavenly Father, we come to You today with hearts full of gratitude. We thank You for Your never-ending love and faithfulness to us. We thank You for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us. We thank You for the hope and joy that You bring into our lives.
We pray that You will continue to lead us in the paths of righteousness. Help us to follow Your commands and seek Your will in all that we do. Guide our steps so that we may live a life pleasing to You.
We ask that You bless our families, friends, and loved ones with peace and joy. Give them strength when they are weak and courage when they are afraid. Help them to remember that nothing is too hard for You and that if they trust in You, all will be well.
We also lift up those who are suffering today-those who are struggling with physical health, financial difficulties, or emotional distress. Comfort them in their time of need and fill their hearts with hope for the future.
Finally, Lord, we ask that you would strengthen our faith as we seek to serve you faithfully each day. Help us to remember that no matter what trials or tribulations may come our way-You are always good and always faithful to sustain us through it all! Amen!
