Prayer for Today, August 19
Heavenly Father, we come before you today in prayer, asking for your blessing and guidance on our lives. We ask that you give us the strength to face each day with courage and faith, knowing that you are with us every step of the way. Help us to be mindful of our thoughts and words, so that we may use them to build up our lives and those of others around us.
We pray for those who are in need of your help today. May you provide them with comfort and peace, so that they may find solace in their struggles. Give them hope for a better tomorrow, so they can look forward to your grace and mercy.
Help us to be a light unto others, Lord. May we be an example of how to live lives of integrity and faithfulness. Let our words speak truth and love into every situation we face. And when it seems like darkness is all around us, remind us of your power over all things.
We thank you for this day, Lord; it is a gift from you to us! Let us make the most out of it by being intentional with our time and resources. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
