Prayer for Today, June 20
Father God, thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We come to You today in prayer and ask that Your peace be felt in each of our lives. We are grateful for the many blessings You provide us, and we pray for those who are struggling today.
We ask that You give us the courage to stand firm in our faith and trust in Your promises. May we stand firm on Your Word no matter what the circumstances may be. Give us strength to walk out our faith with boldness and confidence, knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us.
We lift up all of those facing difficult challenges right now—those who are ill, grieving or experiencing financial difficulty due to job loss or other factors. Comfort them in their distress and provide them with hope in their times of need. We also pray for those who are feeling overwhelmed by stress, worry or anxiety—fill them with a peace that surpasses all understanding and bless them with assurance that You are always near.
We thank You Lord for being our source of strength, hope and joy each day. May You continue to guide us as we seek to live out Your will for our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
