Prayer for Today, June 18
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and grace. We are so grateful for the many blessings that You have poured out upon us. As we come to You today, we ask that You would strengthen and sustain us in our daily lives. Help us to trust in You and to put our hope in Your unfailing love.
Give us courage to face the challenges that come our way and may we find peace and comfort in Your presence. May we not forget the joy of knowing You as our heavenly Father. Fill us with Your joy and peace so that we can be a light unto others in this dark world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Lord, today we pray for our church family, friends, and neighbors who are facing difficult times right now. Grant them courage and strength to make it through their struggles. Help them to see the hope you provide in the midst of hardship and despair. Show them how much you love them by providing support through their journey of healing or recovery.
We also lift up all those who are sick or injured, those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, and those who are struggling with addiction or depression. Heal their hearts Lord; provide comfort to their minds; give rest to their souls; grant peace to their spirits; bring healing to their bodies; free them from bondage; open doors of opportunity for a better future; restore relationships broken apart by deceit or betrayal; grant favor as they look for employment or housing; show them your love even when they feel hopeless.
