Prayer for Today, September 2
Heavenly Father, we come to You today with grateful hearts. We thank You for the blessings of this day and all that You have provided. Open our eyes and hearts to see Your goodness all around us. Help us to recognize Your presence in our lives and to remember the promises that You have made.
We pray for peace in our lives and all around the world. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we may be filled with hope and joy despite the difficulties of life. Fill us with courage to face whatever comes our way. Give us strength to do what is right and grant us wisdom in making decisions according to Your will.
We ask for protection against temptation and evil forces that try to defeat us. Guide us away from anything that would lead us astray from You and help us stay strong in faith during difficult times. We pray for those who feel discouraged, alone, or without hope, may they find refuge in You and know that they are loved deeply by You.
Help us to live each day according to Your will, so that we may bring glory to Your name in everything we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
