Prayer for Today, September 11
Today we remember those who lost their lives on September 11th and those who continue to suffer from its effects. We pray for peace, justice, and healing for all of those impacted by this day. We also pray for courage and strength for those who serve our nation in times of war and peace.
Let us remember the fallen heroes of September 11th, and all who have sacrificed their lives in service to our country. May we never forget the courage and bravery they showed in their sacrifice. May we also remember the families and communities that were forever changed by this tragedy.
We pray for a world of understanding, justice, and peace; a world where people can live together with compassion, kindness, and respect. We pray that we may come together as a global community to promote understanding between all people. May we strive to be instruments of peace in our own communities, honoring the dignity of every person regardless of race or religion.
We also ask that you provide comfort to those who will never forget the events of September 11th or the loved ones they lost that day. Bless them with your everlasting love so that they may find solace in knowing that you are with them always. Amen.
