Prayer for Today, October 23
Dear Lord, we come to you today in need of your guidance and love. We thank you for the many blessings that you bestow upon us every day. We ask that you help us to find peace in our lives and to be able to put our trust in you. Give us the courage and strength to face any challenges that come our way and help us to make wise decisions.
We give you thanks for the joys and successes that we experience each day. Help us to use them as an opportunity to continue growing closer to you. We also want to lift up those around us who are dealing with difficult times, whether they are physical, emotional or spiritual struggles. Give them the strength they need to continue on their journey with faith and hope in their hearts.
As we pray today Lord, may your spirit fill our hearts with joy and peace. May your love surround us so that we can be a light for those who are struggling or lost in darkness. Amen.
