Prayer for Today, October 17
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day. We come before You seeking Your guidance and wisdom. We ask that You would help us to focus on what matters most in our lives and that we would seek to honor You in everything we do.
Help us to be mindful of our thoughts, words and actions. Give us strength and courage to do the right thing, no matter the circumstance. Grant us discernment so that we can make wise decisions that will bring glory to Your name.
We pray for those who are facing difficult times right now – may they find peace and hope through Your presence in their lives. May they know that You are with them every step of the way and that they are never alone.
Thank You for hearing our prayers today, Lord. Please continue to guide us by Your Word, so that we may glorify You in all areas of life. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
