Prayer for Today, October 16

Heavenly Father, we come to You today with hearts full of thanksgiving for Your many blessings and mercies. We thank You for the gift of life on this day and the abundance of Your love that sustains us. May we never forget the beauty that lies in each moment and the power that comes from trusting in You.

We humbly ask that You guide our thoughts, actions, and words in every situation in life. May we be ever mindful of Your will and be able to discern it when faced with difficult choices. Give us courage to speak up against injustice and oppression wherever it exists.

Help us to show compassion to those around us who are hurting or struggling. May our lives be a source of light and joy to those around us, reflecting your grace and goodness. We ask all these things in Jesus’s name, Amen.
