A Prayer for Today, October 15
Dear Lord,
We come to you today to thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us. You have given us life and breath, and we are thankful for your grace. You have sustained us in times of trouble and strengthened us in times of joy. We ask that you continue to bless us with your love and mercy.
We are also mindful today of those who are struggling, who are in need of your comfort and guidance. Please provide them with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let your healing hand be upon those who are ill, those who are grieving, and those who feel lost or hopeless. Give them strength to carry on and courage to face each day with hope.
Let us remember that we can always turn to you in times of need. Help us to lean on each other in times of difficulty so that we may be a source of strength and support in our communities.
Thank you for being our refuge and our strength, Amen.
