Prayer for Today, October 1
Heavenly Father,
We thank you for this new day. We are grateful for the start of a new month and all the opportunities it brings. We lift up to you the joys and hopes of our hearts.
Help us to be aware of your presence throughout this day, that it may be filled with your peace and love. Open our minds to receive guidance from your Holy Spirit so that our thoughts, words and actions may bring honor to you.
We choose to trust in you and your ways, even when we don’t understand them. Give us strength, courage, and hope during difficult times. Protect us from any harm or danger that may come our way today. Guide us as we take steps forward in faith towards living out your purpose for us.
