A Prayer of Thanksgiving
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your grace and mercy. We are grateful for all the blessings that You have bestowed upon us. We thank You for the gift of life, for our families and friends, and for all the wonderful things that make life worth living.
We thank You for our health, our strength, and our ability to work and contribute to society. We are thankful for the abundance of food on our table every day, and the roof over our heads. We are blessed with so much that words cannot express how truly grateful we are.
We thank You Lord for Your protection from all harm and danger. For keeping us safe when we travel near and far. For blessing us with good fortune in everything that we do. From the smallest of things to the biggest decisions in life.
Thank you Lord for giving us hope when times seem bleak, your faithfulness never fails us even in darkness. Thank you Lord for your guidance along each step of this journey we call life.
We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
