Prayer for Today, June 7
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in humble gratitude for all that You have done for us. As we seek Your guidance and wisdom, let us remember to keep our eyes fixed on You and to trust in Your goodness. Help us to know that whatever struggles come our way, You are always with us.
We thank You for Your love and mercy. We ask for the grace to be patient with ourselves and others as we learn how to better serve You. Please give us strength when we are weak and courage when we are afraid. Let our faith in You be unshakeable no matter what comes our way.
We pray that You would guide us in the decisions that we make today, as well as for those decisions that will affect our lives tomorrow. Help us to use the gifts and talents you’ve given each of us wisely. We surrender all of our worries and cares into Your hands, trusting that You will provide for all of our needs according to Your will.
Lord, may Your Holy Spirit fill each of us with joy and peace today so that we may share it with those around us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
