Prayer for Today, June 4
Father God, we come to You today humbly seeking Your guidance and help. We ask that You would give us wisdom beyond our own understanding, so that we may live according to Your will. Please help us to be obedient to Your commands and teachings of Your Word. We pray for peace in the midst of confusion and trouble. Let us sense Your presence with us in every situation.
Lord, thank You for blessing us with the many gifts You provide each day; grant us the ability to recognize and appreciate those blessings. Help us to focus on what matters most, and not be distracted by the things of this world. Guide us in our relationships, both with those close to us and with those who are far away from us.
We ask that You would lead us away from temptations that can bring destruction into our lives. Give strength, endurance, and patience during times of trials and tribulations. Protect our loved ones from harm and keep them safe in the shelter of Your wings.
We thank You for all that You are doing in our lives today and forevermore! In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
