Prayer for Today, July 4
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on this special day of July 4th. We thank You for the many blessings You have given us as a nation and as individuals. We pray for those who have dedicated their lives to defending our freedoms and liberties, both past and present. Give them wisdom and strength to continue their service with honor and courage.
We thank You for the many opportunities we have in this great nation of ours. We ask that You would grant us clear vision so that we can make wise decisions about our future. Lord, help us to use our resources responsibly so that all may benefit from them.
Grant us Your protection from those who seek to do harm and bring peace where there is conflict. Help us to recognize Your presence in our lives and strive to do Your will each day. Guide us in our decisions as a nation so that we may lead others in paths of justice and truth.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
