A Prayer for Guidance and Strength
Heavenly Father, I come to you in desperate need of your guidance and strength. You are the author of my life, and I pray that you will keep me on the path that you have designed for me. I ask that you give me the courage to face each day with a positive attitude and a thankful heart.
Your Word is my guide, Lord, so flood my heart with its truth so that I may always be obedient to your will. Help me to stay focused on your plan for me and not be distracted by all the noise around me. When I am faced with difficult decisions, grant me wisdom to make choices that honor you and bring glory to your name.
Please show me how to use the gifts and talents you have given me for your purpose. Lead me in a way that I can use them for your glory, so that others may see your goodness in all I do or say. Help me to always remember that everything comes from you, so no matter how small it may seem, my success is really due to you alone.
I thank you for always being faithful even when my faith falters, Lord. You are my rock and salvation, so give me the strength when I feel discouraged or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. May I never forget that nothing is impossible with you by my side! In Jesus’s name I pray – Amen!
