Prayer for Today, January 4
Dear God, we come before you today with grateful hearts, thankful for the gift of life and the blessings that come with it. We ask that you would be with us as we start this new year. Guide us to make wise decisions and help us to stay focused on our goals. Give us strength to overcome any obstacles that may come our way, and grant us your peace in every situation.
We lift up those who are struggling today in need of a miracle. Heal the brokenhearted and restore hope to those who have lost it. Surround them with your love and provide for their every need according to your riches in glory.
Finally, Lord, we thank you for the many blessings that you have given us over the years. We ask that you would continue to watch over us and protect us from harm as we move forward into 2021. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
