Prayer for Today, January 23

Heavenly Father, we come to you in prayer today asking that you would bring comfort and hope to those who are feeling discouraged and hopeless. We know that you are always present with us in our joys and sorrows and that you never leave us. Help us to trust in your loving care and to seek the peace that only comes from knowing we’re in your hands.

We pray for our families, friends, neighbors and colleagues today. Give them courage as they face new challenges and provide them with the strength to persevere when things seem impossible. Help us all to remember that no matter what comes our way, you are still in control. We thank you for the times of joy we have experienced and for the times of sorrow that have brought us closer together.

In these moments we ask that you would help us be still before You so we can hear Your voice speaking truth into our lives. May Your Spirit guide us as we seek Your will for this day and may Your Word bring courage when the world seems chaotic and overwhelming. Amen.
