Prayer for Today, December 31

Almighty God, on this last day of the year, we come before you in humble gratitude for all the blessings you have bestowed upon us during this time. Thank you for your grace and mercy that has kept us safe and secure despite the challenges of 2020.

As we look forward to 2021, we ask that you grant us the courage to face any trials that may come our way. Help us to trust in your guidance and not be overcome by fear or anxiety. Comfort those who are feeling overwhelmed by life’s difficulties.

We pray that 2021 will be a year of peace and joy for everyone. May our hearts be filled with love and understanding towards each other so that we can build a brighter future together. Keep us ever mindful of your presence in our lives so that we may always remain devoted to You, now and forevermore. Amen.
