Prayer for Today, December 3
Dear Lord,
Today is a new day, and we thank You for all the blessings You have bestowed upon us. Help us to see Your presence in every situation and to trust in You even when the way forward is not clear. Guide us as we make decisions that will honor You and bring glory to Your Name.
We lift up those who are struggling with fear and anxiety today. Give them peace that surpasses understanding and hope that comes from knowing You are always with them. Help them to see their worth in Your eyes, so they can find strength to carry on.
We also pray for those who have lost loved ones this year, especially during this holiday season. Comfort them with the knowledge of your love and be ever-present in their time of mourning. Remind them of all the joys they shared with their loved ones and help them find strength in your promises of eternal life.
Finally, Lord, help us to remember that our hope is in You alone. When the chaos of our lives overwhelms us or when fear threatens to take over, may we turn our eyes towards you and remember that you are faithful and true – no matter what comes our way.
