Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day of rest and reflection. You have been so faithful to us in the past and we trust You to be faithful to us in the future. We ask that You open our hearts to Your will and that Your Holy Spirit may guide us. Help us seek Your guidance in all that we do, and give us the strength to stand firm in our faith.

We pray for those who are struggling during this season of the year; those who are ill, grieving, or feeling lonely. Give them peace and comfort as they trust in You. Strengthen their faith so that they can find hope even in difficult times.

We also pray for those who are facing challenges today, whether it be financial difficulties or work-related stress. Grant them wisdom and courage to make wise choices and decisions, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
