Prayer for Today, August 9

Dear Lord,
We come before You to thank You for Your grace and mercy. We are thankful that You are always with us and that You provide us with strength and courage. We ask that You continue to be with us today and guide us in all we do.

Help us to stay focused on Your will for our lives and to move forward in faith. Give us the wisdom to use our time wisely and make decisions that honor You. Help us to be patient when things don’t go as planned and trust in Your perfect plan.

Give us the courage to speak words of truth and love and shine Your light in a dark world. We pray for peace in our hearts, peace in our homes, peace among nations, and peace on earth. We ask these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.
