Prayer for Today, August 2

Heavenly Father, we come to You today with heavy hearts. We are struggling with so many different things and we desperately need Your help. We pray for the strength and courage to face everything that comes our way. Help us to trust in Your will and to be obedient to Your commands.

We also ask for peace and joy in our lives. May the peace that surpasses all understanding fill us up so that we can make it through the day. May we find joy in the midst of our struggles, knowing that You are always with us and are walking beside us through it all.

Finally, Lord, give us the wisdom to make wise decisions and know what is best for us. Guide our steps so that we may glorify You in all that we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
