Prayer for Today, August 16
Lord God, we come to you today in search of hope and peace. In a world that often seems so broken and chaotic, help us to take refuge in You. Grant us courage and strength to face the struggles of life with faith and trust in You.
Your word says that if we seek You with all our heart, we will find You. Help us to take time throughout this day to listen for Your voice and be still before You. Speak Your wisdom into our hearts so that our thoughts and words may honor and glorify You.
We thank you for the amazing promises of hope, faith, love, joy, and peace that are ours through Jesus Christ our Lord. May this truth bring us comfort today as we face whatever comes our way. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
