Prayer for Today, April 23
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blessing of another day. We come to You with grateful hearts, asking that You would guide us through our moments and show us how we can be a source of joy and love to all those around us.
Help us to recognize our weaknesses and acknowledge our need for Your help. Give us strength in our times of trial, patience in the midst of pain, and courage when we feel overwhelmed. Lord, help us to cling to You as our rock and refuge in times of hardship.
We pray for those who are suffering today – may Your comfort fill them with hope and peace. Show them Your mercy and grace as You provide for their needs. Remind them they are never alone in their struggles; You are always near.
We also lift up those who are struggling with worry or fear – give them courage to face their fears head-on, trusting in Your presence and power. Let them find assurance in Your promises of provision and protection.
Lord, grant each of us the faith to believe that You will never leave us nor forsake us – no matter what the future holds or how long the road ahead is. May we seek Your guidance each step of the way as we journey together with You towards a brighter tomorrow. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
