Prayer for Today, April 1
Lord, we come to you today with heavy hearts. We are troubled by the events of the world and the suffering of our people. Help us to have faith in your power to bring healing and hope. Give us strength to continue to fight for justice and peace.
We ask for your guidance in our lives, that our actions may be pleasing to you. Help us to strive for righteousness and humility in all we do. Guide us through these uncertain times and make a way for us when we cannot see one.
We pray for those who are unwell, that you would bring healing and comfort. Strengthen them in body, mind, and spirit so that they may get through this difficult time. We also pray for those who grieve the loss of loved ones, that they may find solace in your love and embrace.
Above all else, Lord God, help us remember that ultimately you are sovereign over all things. You have a plan for this world and it will be accomplished according to your will. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
