Prayer for Today, November 3
Almighty and gracious God, thank You for another day of life. We live in a world of chaos, confusion, and fear. Help us to remember Your promise of peace and security. Fill us with faith as we face the unknown future.
As we turn our eyes to You today, give us the courage to stand firm in the truth. Help us to trust in Your love and mercy even when we don’t understand why things happen. Show us how to be a light in a dark world. Remind us that You are our hope and firm foundation.
We pray for those who are struggling with illness or injury, loss or grief. Provide them with comfort and help them find joy again. Give strength to those who are feeling overwhelmed or discouraged so they can stand strong against discouragement and doubt. We also pray for those who are persecuted for their faith around the world — may they find peace in knowing that You stand with them always.
Help us to be more like You each day — generous, kind, patient, and loving — so that others may see Your love reflected through our lives. Amen.
