Dear Lord,
We thank you for the blessings of this day. We come to You today with grateful hearts and open arms. We ask that You guide us in our decisions and help us to make wise choices that will glorify Your Name. Please be with us as we face the struggles and challenges of life. Help us to remember that You are always with us, even when things seem difficult.

We ask for Your peace and comfort to bring healing and hope into our lives and into the lives of those around us. Help us to have a heart of compassion for those who are suffering, so that we may be a light in their darkness. Give us strength when we feel weak, courage when we feel afraid, and faith when we feel discouraged.

Finally, Lord we pray for all of the people around the world who are struggling right now because of poverty or injustice or illness or any other form of suffering. Please be with them in their time of need and bring them your peace, hope, and love.
